Your choices

Nothing optional is switched on until you switch it on, and you can come back and change this at any time — from this page, from the link in the footer, or from Settings once you are signed in.

Keeps you signed in and remembers the choice you make right here. The site cannot work without them, so they are set without asking. They hold nothing about you beyond the session itself.

Remembers the language and the light or dark setting you picked, so the site looks the same next time. Leave this off and both pickers still work — the choice is just forgotten when you close the browser.

A coarse count of visits — which page, roughly which country, which language — so we can tell whether a translation is worth doing. No advertising, no profile of you, nothing sold or shared with anyone.

1. What this is about

A cookie is a small piece of text a site asks your browser to keep. This page covers cookies and anything that works like one — local storage, session storage, and similar browser-side storage.

PlumiBot uses very few of them, and none for advertising. There are no third-party trackers on this site, no advertising pixels, and no cross-site profiling. We do not sell or share personal information, under any definition of those words used by any privacy law.

2. The three categories

  • Strictly necessary. Sign-in and the record of your cookie choice. These are set without asking because the site cannot function without them — the law treats them as exempt from consent for that reason.
  • Preferences. Your language and your light/dark setting, remembered for a year. Turn this off and the pickers still work: the choice just lasts for the current browsing session instead of being stored.
  • Analytics. A coarse visit count. Off unless you turn it on.

3. Every cookie we set

Analytics sets no cookie at all. When it is on, the server keeps a short record of the visit — page, coarse location, language, browser string, and an IP address it does not publish — capped at the most recent few thousand visits and held only in memory, so a restart clears it.

4. Who else is involved

  • Google Fonts. The site's typefaces load from Google's servers, which means your IP address reaches Google to fetch them. Google states it does not use these requests for advertising. No cookie is set.
  • ipapi.co. Turns an IP address into a country so we can count visits by region. Contacted only if you have turned analytics on, and never for anyone who has not.
  • LINE and Stripe. Involved when you use the bot or pay for something, on their own pages under their own policies. Neither sets a cookie on this website.

5. Controlling cookies yourself

The switches above are the direct route, and they take effect immediately. Beyond them, every browser can block or delete cookies for a single site or for all of them — look for Privacy in Settings. Deleting ours simply resets the site to its defaults; nothing breaks.

We also honour Global Privacy Control. If your browser or an extension sends that signal, analytics stays off without you touching anything.

6. Your rights, wherever you are

The design above is deliberately the strictest common denominator: nothing optional runs before you say yes, refusing takes exactly as many taps as accepting, and withdrawing is as easy as granting. That satisfies the rules below rather than varying by where you happen to be.

  • Europe and the UK (GDPR, ePrivacy). Consent is opt-in, granular and freely withdrawable. You may ask for a copy of your data, its correction or its deletion, and you may complain to your national authority.
  • California (CCPA/CPRA). We do not sell or share personal information and do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of — but Global Privacy Control is honoured anyway. You keep your rights to know, delete, correct and not be discriminated against for exercising them.
  • Brazil (LGPD), Canada (PIPEDA), Japan (APPI), Korea (PIPA), Taiwan and Thailand (PDPA), Singapore (PDPA), Australia (Privacy Act). Same controls, same rights of access, correction and deletion. Write to us and we will act on it.

7. Changes

If we ever add a cookie that is not on this list, this page changes first and we ask again before setting it. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
